There are 40 golf courses within 1 hours drive of the Guest House, ranging from local parkland courses, golf estates, signature courses by Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, through to Royal Cape, South Africa's oldest golf course. Lady Loch is ideally located either to combine a few rounds of golf with your holiday or as a golfing holiday / tour destination.

Wine Tasting and Wine Holidays

27 wine farms make up the Wellington Wine Route, and include numerous award winning wines. The wine route, quite rightly, has an excellent reputation for the informality and friendliness of its approach. The Wine Routes of Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek & Worcester are all within 45 minutes drive.

Lady Loch Guesthouse has a large Swimming pool for those hot summer days. Braai (BBQ) facilities are also available on request for those perfect Boland evenings. The table-tennis and table soccer is also available to keep the kids (young and old) busy. The garden is lovely for that lazy Sunday. DSTV is available in the public lounge area for the sport fanatics.

Also come and have a look at the Daylily show in December, we have more than 3000 Daylilies on the grounds giving a spectacular show each year. The garden is perfect for that sunset picnic on the banks of the Berg river. We have a small wine collection from which you can choose and also a smal library available for your convenience.


Double Room

The Guesthouse accommodation consists of double rooms, very spacious (Av.33m2), and include Super-King size beds (or twins if you prefer), en-suite bathroom with double-sized shower, separate dressing room with built-in cupboards, seating area with cushioned chairs and coffee table, mini-bar & complimentary tea & coffee, safe & TV. All our rooms open onto a delightful 'Guest Stoep' or patio which offers wonderful views over the Berg River & vineyards. One room is slightly smaller, features a double sized bed and is available at a reduced rate (budget option).


Family / Economy Suite

The guesthouse accommodation consists of family suites.  This is the perfect option for parents with children. The family suite includes 2 spacious bedrooms, a hallway and dressing area, a bathroom with double-sized shower, and a separate toilet. Both bedrooms can be made up to suit the requirements of the guests.  Whether it is as a Super-King double in the one room, with the other as a twin. A full size wooden cot is also available. A mini-bar, complimentary tea & coffee, private safe and TV are provided. All our rooms open onto a delightful 'Guest Stoep' which offers wonderful views over the Berg River & vineyards. Charges are per person, with children (2-12) being charged half price, whilst infants (under 2) are accommodated free.  The suite is also available to couples as an economy option, where both rooms are made up with king size beds.

Luxury Suite

The guesthouse accommodation consists of 1 luxury suite, with air-conditioning (Hot & Cold), which includes Super-King bed in the one room and in the other, a comfortable lounge with TV & mini bar, a bathroom with double sized shower. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided. All our rooms open onto a delightful 'Guest Stoep' which offers wonderful views over the Berg River & vineyards.


Budget Room

Room with double bed, en-suite bathroom with double-sized shower.

Room includes air conditioner, mini-bar fridge and TV. This is the sleep-and-go option for guests attending functions in the Winelands.  Breakfast is served upon request.

Self Catering Cottage

The self catering cottage is extremely spacious and well equipped. It compromises of a large private veranda to the front, complete with day beds, a very large open plan living/sleeping area, which is air-conditioned, has a king sized bed (or twins if you prefer), an en-suite bathroom with double shower, a kitchen with full size oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, together with crockery and cooking utensils and a lounge area with sofa, chairs and a TV. Two further bedrooms, both en-suite,1 with King or twin beds, the other with double bed and air conditioning, each with its own mini bar fridge, complete the cottage. The cottage has a private braai area and a large pagoda to the side and rear. (Sleeps 6 or less)
